About Bastet Energy
She is an Egyptian goddess of joy,sensual pleasure,healing and music. She also protects children,cats,the home and women especially during pregnancy and childbirth. She also wards off evil spirits and is a fierce protectress. Unlike alot of the Egyptian goddess commonly revered, she is especially ancient.

Her name also is rendered as B'sst, Baast, Ubaste, and Baset.[3] In ancient Greek religion, she was known as Ailuros (Koinē Greek: αἴλουρος "cat").
Bastet was worshiped in Bubastis in Lower Egypt, originally as a lioness goddess, a role shared by other deities such as Sekhmet. Eventually Bastet and Sekhmet were characterized as two aspects of the same goddess, with Sekhmet representing the powerful warrior and protector aspect and Bastet, who increasingly was depicted as a cat, representing a gentler aspect.[4] more on wikipedia

When trying to tap into her energy surround yourself with her symbols, which are cats,instruments,jars,love symbols,beauty and fragrances. She carries an ankh to represent eternal life and a scepter to represent strength and authority. She is closely linked with Hathor the lion headed goddess of Egypt and Sekhmet the her Egyptian warrior counter part.
